I planted my Cup plant (Silphium perfoliatum) 2 years ago & this year they've hit 9 feet tall. Name comes from the way its leaves wrap around the stems to form tiny reservoir--or cup--that hold rainwater. Lots of visitors, including the swallowtail, missing a chunk in its wing
