What does an open water swimmer, who currently holds the record for the longest channel swim ever, do to take a break on Day 6 of a "world first" extreme ocean row across the Rough, cold Drake Passage? Photo: Discovery Track the Row: ubunye.web.app #TheImpossibleRow

Amazing time visiting a few of the early childhood development centres that my charity, Ubunye Challenge, supports in South Africa. 360 children being schooled at the 16 sites. dispatchlive.co.za/news/2020-01-1…

After spending much of 2019 training for my Barbados to St Lucia Swim and then rowing the Drake Passage, it's kinda tough adjusting back to working life in San Francisco. I love living and working in San Francisco tho - an amazing city with awesome people.

I recently had the amazing privilege of swimming around Cape Point in South Africa, where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet. It was a dream come true. Spent a lot of time there when I was young - was one of my father's favorite places and where we scattered his ashes.

Many lives have changed drastically in the last few months. Social distancing, self-isolating and lockdown! I am with my Mum and brother in Cape Town, we are on a 21 day lockdown. 58 million across South Africa! #IStayHome #BeSafe #SafeHands

Been in Cape Town in lockdown for months. Circumstances aren’t great but nice being home with family & my biggest supporter - my Mom - a pretty special lady. Definitely contributed to my love of adventure and doing outrageous things! Happy to have her sons for Mother’s Day!

I’m raising funds to assist with feeding families who are facing extreme hardship in the Eastern Cape. After five years of drought, the effects of Covid 19 and the lockdown have been devastating. The situation is dire. gofundme.com/f/the-ubunye-c…
