I only have a few special memories from travels where I can remember the smells, the emotions and the temperature of the moment so well that it feels like I'm right back there. Floating over herds of zebra and the occasional giraffe or elephant in the Serengeti is one of them!

I'm by no means a wildlife photographer but I do love photographing these beautiful animals out in the wild. There must have been several hundred zebra in front of me, a naturally black and white photo.

I had never heard of Oeschinensee before the day I took this. I arrived in Kandersteg, Switzerland and saw this view on a postcard. A few hours later I was high up on a hiking trail above the lake looking down on that beautiful turquoise water!

Swiss mountains are on another level of beautiful! If only I could share the sound of hundreds of cow bells echoing through the valley.

One of my favourite things about Switzerland is it's public transport system around the country! You get to sit back, relax, and take in the beautiful views all around you.

Tucked away down a valley in Switzerland is a little village called Val Fex. No vehicles are allowed here, so it's best explored by foot or bike but there are some more traditional forms of transport available.

Blue hour at Bachalpsee! Worth the early wake up? I loved watching the stars fade away into dawn.

Hiking in the early morning light, the Shrekhorn reflected beautifully in this alpine pond. The Jungfrau region is so beautiful!

One of the funniest encounters I've had on a trail was running into this herd of around 50 Ibex. I was busy talking and walking and didn't notice the entire herd, motionless like statues, right in front of me! Ever had any fun trail encounters?

Mentally lost in the mountains, where I love to be! Thankfully I can just follow this sign over to Mount Everest ;)

Sunrise over the fourth highest mountain in the world, Nuptse. It was an internal battle to crawl out the comfort of my bed to capture this but as soon as that colour started lighting up the clouds, the adrenalin kicked in.
