I was able to coach a bunch of guys who competed so hard for one another throughout a long postseason run. They were able to elevate their level of play, especially when our backs were against the wall. What more could you ask for as a coach? #AmericanLegionWorldSeries

To play with such high expectations all season is no easy task. They answered the bell every step of the way. These boys competed and raised their level of play with their backs against the wall. I would go war with any one of those guys. We truly lived the tradition.

18U won their 3rd game at the Perfect Game Iowa Kernals Tournament beating Iowa Selects 6-2. Jett Collins went 2x3 with a 2B and 2 RBI’s. Caleb Briggeman was 2x3 with a 2B and RBI. Kyler Kudrna got the win on the mound 7 strikeouts.

18U won game 2 vs Canes Kansas City with 15 hits. Alex Seaver was 3x3 with 4RBI 2B and HR. Caleb Briggeman was 3x4 with 3 2B’s. Jack Tooke was 2x2 with a HR. Colby Hanson 2x3 3B, 3RBI’s. Aiden Herner had a HR. 18U will advance to bracket play.
