Ohio State and Marshall set to go in first of at least 9 college football games today in which the home school is paying an appearance guarantee of at least $950,000, per documents obtained from the schools. Marshall is getting $1.6 million for game vs. Buckeyes

James Madison -- getting a $500,000 guarantee from North Carolina -- now leads Tar Heels in Chapel Hill by 53-21 just before halftime. This despite JMU having 8 penalties for 85 yards.

JMU has TD's by run, pass, blocked punt return and interception return.

This is the most points JMU has scored in a half in its football history. It had 52 twice (vs. Robert Morris in 2018 and vs. Morehead State in 2016) and 51 vs. Morehead State in 2021 .
