Update from our group. A thread. Did you know that 2024 marks 20 years of our group? After the loss of our beloved Cy we have been slowly working in the background to continue supporting anyone that makes contact with us on their Thyroid Cancer journey.

September is almost upon us and its Thyroid Cancer Awareness Month so let’s all check our necks and spread the word to our friends and family too ! Also please remember we are having a get together on Thursday 12 September…hope to see some of you there for a cuppa ☕️ 😊

I can’t believe I won’t see that beaming smile again. I’m so happy that Sol was part of my life and we had such brilliant memories together.  I’m heartbroken for Chloe and the family and all my thoughts are with them.  Sol was a ray of sunshine and I’ll miss him so much. 💔

Heartfelt, sincere, lovely tribute, Glen. What a genuinely charismatic person Sol was. Will always remember the fun shared with him on the broken glasses story. 💙

Today, we remember all those who lost their lives in the Aberfan disaster. Around 9.15am on the 21 October 1966, Merthyr Vale Colliery tip collapsed and slid onto the village of Aberfan. 116 children and 28 adults were killed.
