I had an encounter with one annoying patient too During one of my psychiatric posting I was told by a senior nurse to check vitals of male patients in the general ward and patient in the private ward, and I hate going to the private ward because one of the patient has

asked for my number but I told him I don’t have a phone which he believed, during recreational activities that same day he saw me receive a call and he told me that same day that he would catch me so since then I have hated going to the private ward.

I had explained my encounter with this senior nurse but just because she wants to prove seniority she told me to go 😭😭 I entered the private ward this patient was not sleeping so I told him that I want to check his vitals he agreed without hesitation.

Not knowing this guy has me in mind , I won’t lie I was scared but just put on a brave face, after checking his vitals I say lemme run out of the room since I purposely did not close the door or his room this guy jump up from the bed and gave me two hot slap on my bumbum😭😭

His hands was very strong ehn I couldn’t do anything to him but I made sure I cursed him in my heart and I also went to report the patient and the senior nurse to the head nurse because that thing pain ehn 😭😭😭😭🤣🤣

I was given painkiller injection before the pain on my bumbum could stop and my head nurse then told me to sit on ice to ease my pain. After that encounter I vowed never to be a psychiatric nurse because it’s not my calling 😭😩😩😩

I lost weight almost 40kg because of running from patient or patient is running away from me that ward almost turn a whole baby girl like me to mad person 😭🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I love my Job sha #Nursingforlife
