Saving his impressive library, Elias Ashmole moved it from the Temple to South Lambeth during the #GreatFire of London. Ironically, when he moved it back, it was destroyed by the Temple fire #OTD 26 January 1678, his manuscripts were spared (being then at his house in Lambeth).
