Very sad news of John Sykes’ passing. 🎸His playing on Thunder and Lightning, Slide It In, and Whitesnake 1987 inspired me so much as a player starting out. My tapping / hammer ons, came from him not the expected name. All of us practising in those years knew who John Sykes was.
