Wow, where did that month go?! Very busy but lots of exciting things happening at The King Alfred School an Academy 🤩

What a fantastic week with @ICMCharity 🤩 18 students receiving targeted support, plus those who attended the lunchtime drop-in! The Wellbeing Support room is also starting to take shape 😊

Term 1 seemed to fly by! Wishing everyone a lovely recharge over half term 😊 I started mine with a lovely evening with friends last night 🥰

Mental health is: • Worthy of your attention • Necessary to prioritise • Something everyone needs to look after • Linked to physical health • Something we need to teach in school Mental health is not: • Something to judge • "All in the mind" - it impacts everything •

If you're not sure what self-care works for you, ask yourself these three questions: What can I do within my power that will make me feel better? What helps me recharge when I'm feeling drained? Are my needs right now emotional, physical or practical?
