I have the honor of contributing a sphinx painting for Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein.

Wanted to try this with something painterly! This technique kinda shows that the more you dull the values, the more ethereal the mood can be. As if values are the backbone of realism. Pastel effects can bleach the light but enhance the color. Makes the light sort of permeate
