Today marks 5 years without my dad. He was handsome and funny and brilliant and gentle. He wrote plays and poems and movie reviews and painted and made beautiful things with his hands. He listened to rock music at incredible volumes. He was a sucker for pretty women. I miss him.

I would be so good at being on a month long vacation in Italy.
