Cerow on Fitzpatrick: "There’s not a doubt in my mind that when I was passing her the ball, it was going to be another three points for us. She makes herself so available, and she’s so confident. You can’t find that in another player. It was 100 percent the difference."

After a heartbreaking triple-OT tourney loss to Nashoba last year, the Dragons vowed to write a different story this time around. "We knew this was our chance to get that signature win we hadn’t gotten yet." They persevered and outlasted league rival Silver Lake in a thriller.

I want to give Lyla Peters another shout-out for this pass. Look at where it ends up. It's exactly where Ella Fitzpatrick needs it to be to have enough time to get it off. Extended the lead to eight midway through the fourth. One of the biggest plays of the game. Well done.

To the Duxbury seniors, it's been an absolute blast watching your careers unfold over the past four years. Five outstanding leaders, players, and most of all people, who will be missed next year and beyond. The future is bright for the Dragons, but this class is irreplaceable.

Brian Keller on the seniors: "It’s a great group of kids. They’ve been good mentors to the younger kids. I’m going to really miss them. It’s heartbreaking to go out with two triple-overtime losses, but they went a step farther this year. I love them to death."

Brian Keller: "Hailey made some big plays down the stretch."

Hailey Flynn: "I’m going to miss this group so much. It’s very senior-heavy, but I know we’re going to continue to do great things after this season."

Hailey Flynn: "We worked so hard. We knew it was going to be a scrappy battle. I think our teamwork is just so good. We’ve all practiced so hard together."
