Joey Novak. 15 seed, 197 lbs. True sophomore. Novak lost to Buchanan round 2 then rattled off 5 victories (beating 2 AA’s) to finish 5th and become All-American! Novak also became just the 3rd wrestler in NCAA history to notch a takedown on AJ Ferrari, impressive performance!

💡NCAA Spotlight💡 ➡️ went 2-2 in his first-career NCAA Championships as a freshman ➡️ logged a 🧷 against the PAC-12 Champ in Round 1 of the consolation bracket ➡️ also earned a sudden victory on the consolation side Congrats, Eddie Neitenbach 👏
