Wished to remind everyone! BPD will be at the Trunk or Treat event with the Command Unit, Sunday October 15th from 2p-4p. Burlington High School parking lot by the cafeteria.

Burlington PD is working along side the BHS Athletic Department to assist the Food Pantry and those in need. Please bring in donations that will go to a great cause! Canned goods, baking supplies, paper goods, and anything you think will help! Donation bin right in the PD lobby.

Come visit the BPD Command Unit at Trunk or Treat. Got candy and goodies for everyone.

Congrats to the Meier boys on winning the ride to school raffle prize at the Memorial Elementary Halloween celebration. SRO Calicchio had a blast with these two!

Burlington High School put on a wonderful dedication ceremony for our local Veterans. So good to see the entire school come to get and thank those answering the call to duty!

Thank you to the Memorial School PTO for inviting Sgt Vito Costa, SRO Dominic Calicchio, and Det Sage Costa to speak with parents about internet safety and how to keep your kids protected online. Tonight, we will be speaking with the Fox Hill School parents and PTO.

The Unified Games was a great time and so many thank you’s to Wilmington, MA for being a gracious host! SRO Calicchio reached way down to his BHS football athleticism but was no match for the student athletes. Congrats to all!

2024 radKIDS Burlington Police MA has begun and what a group of students. Burlington Fire Dept did not disappoint; letting the students spray the hose was the highlight! Not sure if we are creating future police officers or firefighters? But community helpers they will be!

One day away from the Week 1 groups simulation and pizza party. I would to thank special guest Burlington PD Mental Health Karen DiRienzo for her support of the program and guidance to our student’s. BPD Drone Operator Sgt. Sage Costa demonstrating the importance of drones in law enforcement!

Week 2 of radKIDS begins!!! Officer Trahan leading the way of giving our kids the special skills to avoid dangers and strangers when out and about.

Week 1, 2025 radKIDS with the Burlington Police Department has begun! Day one is always nerve racking for the students but they gave us their full attention and realized it was a great time. Back it 9am tomorrow!

Day 2, 2025, and your Burlington radKIDS did a fantastic job today! They learned new defensive skills, fire safety, and keeping your family safe inside the home.

A great ending to the first week of radKIDS 2025. Thank you to Burlington PD Mental Health for your expertise and assistance with the students as always. Burlington Fire Dept did not disappoint with bringing Engine 1 and Ambulance 1 for the kids to check out!

Week 2 of radKIDS 2025 with 24 students. A very large class of great kids to work with. A testament to the great team of police lead instructors and student helpers who keep this awesome program running each year!

Week 2 is looking great and making good decsions. Not sticking around for any tricks from strangers and using their voice to stay safe. Another big thanks to Burlington PD Mental Health Burlington Fire Dept and the BPD Traffic Division for their guidance and devoted time to the community!
