Many perfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) are being regulated out of existence due to the persistent of these chemicals in the environment. Future bans are looming for some. Severe regulatory restrictions are already in place for C8-Perfluorinated PFAS - namely PFOA's & PFOS's.
