I think we, as #Canadians, can be so quick to say we are #multicultural and #inclusive... Yet, if we ask those who come from backgrounds that are #notwhite- there are countless stories of #racism. Pretending it isn't a problem, doesn't solve it. #implicitbias #JoyceEchaquan

Another reason why representation among health care leaders matters. These spaces can be unsafe for people from historically marginalized communities. Grateful to leaders willing to prioritize justice and equity over their feelings and (dis)comfort.
