Today one of our volunteer responders offered assistance after coming across an ongoing incident whilst off duty. Thanks to Bodmin Community Fire Station, the off duty CFR from #Rock and others who stopped by to help.

Great to be at the launch event today for the new county Community First Responder Vehicles with South Western Ambulance Service at the very end of #VolunteersWeek2023. Great to hear about the impact volunteers have on patient care in the South West and the ongoing investment in volunteering.

On Sunday evening our team of Volunteers had their familiarisation on the new Cornwall CFR car. We look forward to using it to increase visibility when responding to and attending incidents, as well as fundraising events. South Western Ambulance Charity 💚💙

We’ve had a great day at the Kernow Blue Light Day at Wadebridge Showground alongside South Western Ambulance Service, Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service, Devon & Cornwall Police and other local emergency service agency’s. We even witnessed some ‘pawsome’ CPR! 🐶

We’ll be at Morrisons #Bodmin today from 10am - 3pm as part of the #NHS75birthday Big Tea event, come on down and meet your local Community First Responders and find out what we do, see the new Cornwall Responder car and some of the kit we carry. See you there!
