Year 6 have been exploring how Christians show their belief that Jesus is God incarnate. We enjoyed exploring our church for evidence today.

A huge thank you to Year 5 for making a generous donation to the Christmas Stocking Appeal in Great Yarmouth instead of receiving a gift from their teachers...they also donated in time to get their £30 doubled by the stretch funding to a massive £60!

This week, our collective worship theme is being thankful. Today, we listened to "For the Beauty of the Earth" - a song that celebrates God's creation. Staff and children are thinking this week about how to be grateful.

Today, Reverend Andy joined us and led our collective worship about Remembrance. Children spent time back in their classrooms reflecting on what they had heard and also thinking about his question: How can you serve your community, now and in the future?

This morning, children led our collective worship and taught our school community about the meaning of Armistice Day and the significance of the poppy. The children then led us in prayer, reading prayers they had written themselves.

Our choir performed at Pakefield Primary School yesterday, singing their Black History Month song beautifully (Three Little Birds by Bob Marley). Despite some nerves, it was lovely to see them flourishing and enjoying the occasion! Well done to all the children who performed.

At Blundeston, we are now thinking about this special period of Advent. We have a new Advent display for our school community to enjoy and are looking forward to our Open the Book Advent collective worship.

We were delighted to welcome Reverend Helen to our collective worship today. She talked to us all about the meaning of Advent as a time of preparing and waiting. Reverend Helen brought a posada with her from the Oulton Broad Team Ministry.
