The whole point of these obscene amount of splits is so that gear is tradable and GUILDS CAN START MASTER LOOTING ASAP. Just bring it back, let the community police itself on what loot systems work for each guild/player.

I like the raid difficulty, don't get me wrong. However tuning a raid around gear breakpoints like 2 leggo is lazy. Blizzard has a long history of tuning bosses extremely well around natural power curves. When a boss is essentially impossible until time gates, you just didn't try
