are taking action to demand for their needs in relation to health and education. Through their advocacy visit to the LGA Health Secretary and Education Secretaries, they pressed for stronger action: increased staffing in their schools and health facility, sustained drugs supply,

adequate desks and chairs in classrooms, renovation and provision of learning aids, employment of community members with qualifications to teach in the school and work in the health facility in case of unforeseen circumstances.

Their efforts paid off with commitments from the stakeholders to look into all issues submitted. These include consideration for members of the community who volunteer in schools and clinic during the LGA recruitment, more teachers

and health personel will be sent to the community now that peace has been restored to the community and its environs, other supplies required by the facilities will be met.
