I visited Lepant Law Office in Beatrice, and I spent the day with Jonathan Eller. He was super cool and taught me a lot of what being a lawyer is about and the different paths you can take. He also taught me about bankruptcy and the different chapters. Beatrice High School #BHSCareers

I went to Tri-County public schools and shadowed a secondary English teacher. While being there, I learned how to teach properly and how to copy papers!

I followed Penny Shaffer, a pediatric nurse practitioner at BCH's Women & Children Clinic. My experience with patients and meeting children motivated me to pursue a degree, earning my R.N., APRN, and pediatric nurse license. Overall I absolutely loved my shadow. #BHSCareers

I shadowed Office Byrne at the BPD to learn about a career as a general investigator. We discussed cases he offered me other opportunities to shadow. I enjoyed learning about what he does every day and I have great memories of the experience. #BHSCaraeers

I loved my job shadow at the SCC gym. I had a fun time watching Coach Wooten and his players work. I love basketball so I liked it all but my favorite part was definitely watching them compete.
