Americans owe $1.6 TRILLION in student debt. INSANE! @RepresentUs and I made a short film about how our corrupt political system got us here, and how we can FIX IT with the #ForThePeopleAct. Grab some popcorn, sit back and enjoy. Then let’s get to work 👍

Very wealthy people already have a student loan forgiveness program. It’s called their parents. The idea that millionaires and billionaires are willingly letting their kids drown in federal student loans & that’s why we can’t go big on forgiveness is about as silly as it sounds.

Every time I watch the sunrise, I think of Tupac. We once watched the sunrise together after a long night. It was quiet for a second then he looked at me and said “I’m a thug, I prefer the sunrise.” I really don’t know what that means, but I still live by it to this day.

experts need to earn trust back by acknowledging misteaks and being transparent about their processes, what's known, and what's still being learned. they need to address valid concerns. they need to meat people where they are and deliver tangible benefits to improve their lives
