Interesting review on pharmacists-led AMS educational interventions, which reduce #antimicrobial consumption without increasing mortality journalofhospitalinfection.com/article/S0195-… Journal of Hospital Infection Interesting angle for the review - AMS needs to be explicitly multi-professional to be most effective

Its never too early to teach AMR in schools. Great way to spread the message as kids may mention it to their parents and friends. Always try to do this every year.

Its very exciting to be a part of this. A huge thank you to everyone involved. An amazing collection of bacteria that will continue to provide insight into AMR development and important resource for future AMR research.

It's MDT Tuesday of World Antibiotic Awareness Week. Everyone can be an antimicrobial steward. Everyone involved in prescribing, dispensing and administering antimicrobials has a part to play to reduce antimicrobial resistance. Think about IVOST bit.ly/30pLeLT #WAAW

Genomic surveillance is the process of constantly monitoring pathogens & analyzing their genetic 🧬 similarities & differences. It enables us to: ✅ monitor the evolution of infectious diseases agents ✅ alert on the spread of pathogens ✅ develop counter measures like vaccines

This is interesting. It looks as though some fairly new tech is being considered by NHS Tayside. Mentioned in the linked post is Far UV as well as D-orbital nano oxide catalysts for indoor air purification with filtration. It's promising that the Covid issue is being tackled.
