#CTTraffic Route 8 northbound has been shut down at Exit #23 in Beacon Falls due to a collision with serious injuries reported. We are currently unable to anticipate the duration of this closure and ask that anyone traveling in the area please seek alternate routes.

Route 8 North is closed at Exit 23 due to a serious accident with life-threatening injuries. Beacon Hose and other local EMS transported four patients. All northbound traffic on Route 8 will be directed off Exit 23 until further notice. This will be a long-duration shutdown.
