Up early and our offense was doing well, but a change of pitcher by PJ and mistakes in the field by us gave them the lead. Played better against them than we did two weeks ago which is good, but we still have a lot to work on. We are at rival Lourdes on Monday. Beacon Athletics
Huge road win against an old time rival. An overall exciting high school softball game. OC pitched a great game, we backed her up in the field, and we had good at bats. Proud coaches! Senior Night tomorrow vs Cornwall! Beacon Athletics
Lost a home divisional game to Cornwall 9-5. Did not play our best: too many mistakes and too many runners left in scoring position. However, it was Senior Night to celebrate our 8: Makkaila, Olivia C, Briana, Christina, Leanna, Olivia S, Tess and Haleigh. Beacon Athletics
Our varsity girls supporting our modified girls vs Port. Love to see it. Beacon Athletics
Tough divisional home loss to Goshen. Pitching and fielding were okay, but couldn’t get much going offensively with only 4 hits. Kudos to the Goshen pitcher for a great effort in the circle. We host Wallkill Saturday 11am. Beacon Athletics
WALK OFF! Down 2 going into bottom of the 7th, Mikayla Sheehan’s 2-out single scored Christina Merola to win it. Proud of our girls for their mental toughness coming back when facing adversity, especially against a Coach Murphy led team. We are at Monticello Monday. Beacon Athletics
Wallkill gets us this time with a big 5th inning taking the lead. Our girls played well with Bella White pitching well in the circle and good defense behind her for 6 innings, with one bad inning being our downfall today. We continued to fight until our last out. Beacon Athletics
Dropped an away game to NFA. Played great defense in middle innings behind Bella White, just couldn’t get much going at the plate. Beacon Athletics
Dropped a road divisional game at Washingtonville. Had a decent defensive outing and OC threw well in the circle, but couldn’t string together enough hits leaving too many runners on base. We travel to Monticello tomorrow. Beacon Athletics
We played a fantastic game tonight under the lights against the #4 Ranked Class A school in NYS. Great defense backing up Sheehan’s 2-hitter in the circle. MV’s Catletti pitched a great outing with 10 K’s. Good things happen when you play with passion and heart. Beacon Athletics
Score doesn’t tell the whole story: proud of the girls for once again playing much better softball with drive and enthusiasm. Lost to this solid Goshen team 11-0 a few weeks ago. Proud of the progress we have been making and hope to end the final 2 games strong! Beacon Athletics
We continue our good play with a W in our last home game of the season. In the hot weather, OC battled thru to throw a complete game 5-hitter with decent defense behind her. At the plate, Merola paced us with 3 hits. Proud of the girls! We are at Cornwall tomorrow. Beacon Athletics
We ended our season today at Cornwall. Oriani and I are proud of the way the girls played with passion the last few games of the year. To our 8 seniors- Mak, OC, Bri, Chrissy, Lee, Spi, Tess and Hail: thank you for your dedication to the program. We will miss you. Beacon Athletics
Congratulations to our Senior Captain Leanna Rinaldi on signing her letter to be a student-athlete at Kings College to study engineering and play softball. Our program will miss you and your leadership, but we know you will achieve great things! Beacon Athletics
Great morning watching our very own Kat and Sally in the BeaconGirlsSoftball 14U Tournament at Memorial. Keep up the good work girls! Beacon Athletics
Congratulations Haleigh on earning 2nd team recognition and Christina and Olivia S. for being on the honorable mention list! Hard work pays off. Congratulations! Beacon Athletics
Girls in Sports Day! Shout out to Varsity players Kat, Bella, and Sally for volunteering their time to help with the future Bulldogs! Beacon Athletics
