This past October, the Varsity Club had the pleasure of inducting eleven former Boston College athletes into the Varsity Club Hall of Fame🦅 In the next few days we will highlight these inductees... starting with GOSDER CHERILUS '07🏈

We would like to recognize LAUREN COSTELLO '10🥍 for being inducted into the Varsity Club Hall of Fame! Costello had an outstanding four years on the Women's Lacrosse Team at Boston College, being the All-Time leading goal scorer and point scorer in the lacrosse program!

Introducing CHARLIE DAVIES⚽️ to the Varsity Club Hall of Fame! After a few outstanding years playing soccer at BC, Charlie went on to play 12 years of professional soccer, including appearances on the US Men’s National Team as well as in the 2008 Beijing Olympics!

Introducing KELLY HENDERSON ‘10 ⚽️ into the Varsity Club Hall of Fame! After having an extremely successful career on the Women’s Soccer team, Henderson was picked in the fourth round of the WPS draft by the Philadelphia Independence!

Now introducing TONY SANCHEZ⚾️! After an incredible career as an Eagle, Tony was the highest MLB draft pick in program history, drafted at No.4 overall to the Pirates!

We now recognize DEBORAH SPILLANE🏒 for her induction to the Varsity Club Hall of Fame! Deborah led the team to its first ever Beanpot title as MVP, scoring both goals in a 2-0 win against Harvard in 2006!

Last but certainly not least...JESSICA WACNIK🎾! Jessica finished the 2015 season at 14-4 in singles play as BC's number-one. In the same year, she qualified for the All-American Championship Tournament with her doubles partner!
