Langston women (31-2) defeat Dakota Wesleyan 79-68 in the NAIA Naismith Regional final to earn a spot in the national Sweet 16 beginning Thursday in Sioux City, Iowa. Xavier (LA) (29-3) is the other HBCU women's team in the NAIA Sweet 16.

The Langston men (26-7) are the only one of five HBCU teams to advance thru their regional and will be in the Sweet 16 in Kansas City, Mo. beginning on Thursday.
