Here it is, what we’ve been waiting for — the season-ending simulated #BCS rankings. How will the College Football Playoff rankings compare?

The simulated #BCS is out and it would seed the 12-team playoff in its own way. In nine of the 10 years prior, the College Football Playoff included the exact same teams in its four-team playoff as the #BCS would've. We'll see in just under 10 minutes how 2024 will compare:

The SMU-Alabama head-to-head at least according to our BCS inputs: Alabama ahead: Simulated BCS (by one one-hundredth of a point), AP Poll (by one vote point), Coaches Poll (by eight vote points), two of six computers SMU ahead: Four of six computers

Not that it's any real indication, but last year we got our answer to the biggest seeding / playoff debate (Texas vs. Florida State vs. Alabama) at 12:24pm — if you're wondering!

In the first 12-team edition of the College Football Playoff, the simulated #BCS and the committee include 11 of the same teams, disagreeing only on Alabama vs. SMU. Here's your side-by-side brackets under both:
