In Turkey #RobertHopkinUoB International Collaboration & SME Engagement BCRRE had the opportunity to visit TÜBİTAK RUTE hosted by Dr Tolgahan Kaya, Institute Director and Hamdi Uçarol, International Relations Coordinator to see Turkish Railway Research at its very best.

Our researchers Osa Olaby and Rama Ambur have been attending Rail Live, joining the biggest gathering of rail industry professionals, while having a ride on the hydroflex shuttle on their way to Long Marston!

In Ethiopia Marcelo Blumenfeld and Kimberly Harding have been running a workshop of the project Unlocking governance and policy for sustainable mobility in East Africa. This cross-faculty collaboration has been pivotal in driving discussions for sustainable transportation in Africa.
