Gunnersbury Park is currently closed following a fire at the cafe. Thankfully no one was hurt but there has been major damage to the building. The park is expected to remain closed for 48 hours while police and fire crews make the site safe and investigate the cause.

Sadly Gunnersbury Park Café was destroyed in a fire in the early hours of this morning. Thankfully no one was injured. The cause of fire is under investigation and the park is currently closed. It is expected to remain closed for at least 48 hours 👉 is.gd/180Dpz

Elvis lives.........Puuuuurfect rescue by LFBHounslow #chiswick White Watch using a Turntable Ladder from #Paddington. Elvis was 30 ft up and needed specialist rescue equipment from London Fire Brigade to bring him home. Happy cat even though he was All Shook Up

Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service (HWFRS) responded to eight vehicles in water during the flooding between 7am yesterday and 7am today. There was also a rescue of a man from a vehicle in water at Walcot Ford, Drakes Broughton, yesterday. Don't drive into floodwater!
