Y5 & Y6 ventured to London last week to explore the amazing architecture and visit The National Gallery as part of their topics this half term. They went on the Thames River Cruise to see some of the most iconic London landmarks. This will definitely be a trip they remember!

Y5 have been really involved in their final topic this year 'Architecture' Today we looked at how bridges have been used to span gaps and how they have changed over time. Children investigated how certain shapes would be more successful and could withhold a lot of weight.

Y5 entered a competition hosted by the JP Morgan, Make it happen scheme. They were given the opportunity to create their own apps for any purpose they felt necessary. Today they announced the winner and runners up. Congratulations to them all! A very proud Mrs Radford.
