Zopheiram Pre-College officially launched on March 4, 2015, under the Zopheiram Government, a member of the Chinland Council. It is one of two pre-college programs in Chinland, both aligned with Chin National University. Zopheiram is in Thantlang Township.

On April 3, during a humanitarian ceasefire to aid earthquake victims, the India-based Zomi Revolutionary Army (ZRA) burned 80 homes in Nakzang village, Tonzang, Chin State. The ZRA, the junta’s ally ttacked Tonzang an area freed from junta control in 2023 by CNA and allies.
