Effective teachers don't focus so much on rules, but more on relationships, routines, & expectations. If you focus mainly on rules, you will spend most of the year enforcing them. But if you focus on relationships, routines, & expectations, you rarely have to defer back to rules.

Situation is not helped when stable, over-subscribed schools deliberately go over PAN, further destablising neighbouring under-subscribed schools, who then have to pick up bulk of in year admissions. To call these under-subsribed schools selective or not inclusive is just wrong.

Selena Maris Deadline I’ve never moaned about being cancelled because I’ve never been cancelled. I have moaned about nurses and teachers and office workers being cancelled for stating honest opinions under certain authoritarian trends though. Luckily we’re coming out of that phase though. Thanks for
