What a sad reality !! Same JFO in 2014 was offered 2.35 pm for a 50 hr salary and 8 days off contract. Cost of training was 50 lacs. Today trg cost is north of 1 cr, mandatory days offs and salary 20k less. Still choosing to be a pilot ??

🚨 India’s aircrew deserve a fair customs duty limit🚨 Passengers get ₹50K duty-free, but aircrew—who travel for work, not leisure—get just ₹1,500, barely enough for chocolates! Most customs officials are helpful and are professional, but this outdated rule enables a few

New fdtl norms have proved to a bane for 🔵 pilots. Leaves reduced, availability increased. Don’t ask about salaries.Inflation not accounted for since a decade. Covid arrears not paid. Disgruntled pilots are not a good sign ! #sorrystateofindianaviation

IndiGo pilots up in arms due unilateral changes in service conditions, pay reduction and also change in the Pilot Benevolent Fund conditions. The Benevolent Fund to which pilots have contributed for 16/20 years. Inside sources claim that these reductions are to compensate loss

Indian Pilots- The most cheapest and the most exploited labour in the entire world ! #stagnantsalaries #noincrement #reducedleaves #minimumrest

In Moments of Fear, One Truth Stands Tall: Trust the Pilots When a recent IndiGo flight was battered by severe weather, fear swept through the cabin. Passengers whispered prayers and clutched hands—but amid the turbulence, one truth rose above the chaos: only the two pilots

Despite this profit IndiGo is bent on screwing its pilots reducing pay, earned leave and payout from pilot contributed Benevolent Fund. The Airline must acknowledged that these profits are due to commitment of its employees and not expat leadership. #RahulBhatia

With a rise in inadvertent disengagement of autobrake due to a low pedal deflection, Airbus has now modified the disengagement threshold on the #A320. The new BSCU L4.11 standard now requires greater than 25% (3.6°) of the 2 pedal deflection to disengage LO & MED autobrake.

When the outer limits of FDTL become the normal limits, what else do you expect ? Pilots are humans at the end of the day. We are not robots.Fatigue is real. Min rest and max duty roster is not uncommon these days! #Pilotfatigue #indianaviation

@MillionAir (@milllionair) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Hey Air India & IndiGo , you want to delay that second phase of FDTL rules until 01st November 2025? You sure ? DGCA do you permit the phased application of every CAR or the FDTL is a special case ? Until you take accounts, more pilots will succumb.

Some views I read on #AAIB report are malicious & need to be condemned. CVR clearly amplifies that no one ever touched Fuel Cutoff switch. More important is 2018 FAA advisory, & could spill the beans. Be responsible and mindful people. Lives and reputation is involved. 😔

✈️ What they don’t tell you about being a pilot in India… Behind every flight you board, there’s a story of grit, long hours, and unwavering focus. It’s time the truth took off.

Grounded for wearing perfume? Using hand sanitizer? Mouthwash? It’s time to question rules that punish more than they protect. Pilots deserve clarity, not confusion. Safety, not suspicion. ALPA India is calling for a reformation of the DGCA CAR to ensure the focus is on safety.
