This week our Reception children have been learning about Jack and the Beanstalk. The children used beans for counting in maths and created their own beanstalk board game 😊

Our riders were mastering new skills at RDA Sandhurst this week, including riding with no hands and then mastering left and right turns using their reins…great work children!

Year Two thoroughly enjoyed their workshop on The Great Fire of London this morning😊 A very big thank you to FOBSA for funding this experience for the children.

FOBSA will be holding a Happy School Bag collection next Friday, 23rd January. Please drop off any unwanted clothing etc, first thing in the morning and help us raise valuable funds for our school😊

Year 2 gardeners kicked off the 2026 growing season by sowing chilli peppers this afternoon😊

A very big congratulations to our riders, who all passed their Grade One Horse Care and Proficiency test this morning at RDA Sandhurst! Great work children #itswhatyoucandothatcounts

Our very youngest children have been doing some fantastic independent writing about space this week😊 They were all very proud to share their work!

All across the school ch’n have been applying their DT and Science skills 😊 From fire engine designs, to testing differ materials for their w’proof properties, to working in collaboration in ind learning time to create stadiums, complete with helipads! Great work children😃

The rain has not stopped us enjoying our forest school lessons this week, we’ve just embraced the new learning opportunities it’s provided!

Our children have enjoyed reading books by the author Oliver Jeffers this term. They’ve created amazing displays in the school hall, depicting some of their favourites. If you have time, please pop in and take a look😊

A half term treat from FOBSA went home tonight 🍫 Hopefully everyone will earn their treats by helping out over the half term break, raising valuable funds for our school 😊
