If you learn anatomy as step 1 you’re already doomed for failure. Anatomy itself is highly complex and requires previous fundamentals of form, gesture, perspective, proportion etc. Learning anatomy right at the beginning is juggling like 5 different balls at once.

You get one life to fall in love, find your passion, learn an art, learn a craft, fight your hardest to impose a tiny bit of yourself onto an uncaring void and reshape both the lives of others and the universe itself, but OP would rather cry in bed for not living in Harry Potter.

You only “learn anatomy” to get better at drawing people, not better at art.
