A cry for help saved my daughters life. Today on #WorldSuicidePreventionDay I want to say 'I am glad your here, I am glad your with us!' And to everyone out there who might be struggling remember you are loved!

As a HCA pre-uni I often felt unvalued and was once told on ‘nurses day’ that it wasn’t a celebration that included us. So to see this makes me so happy! It’s about time support workers were recognised for their incredible hard work that is so often forgotten about 🥳👩🏼‍⚕️💛

UCLH runs one acute hospital and several specialist hospitals. The references to “virtually a COVID-only hospital” in the media are about University College Hospital. Our other hospitals are still providing cancer, neuro, maternity and other urgent treatment.

Lockdown may be lifting on Monday 19 July but please continue to help stop the spread of #COVID19 & other respiratory viruses by wearing a mask in our buildings, keeping a safe 2m distance & using hand sanitizer, even if you're fully vaccinated. Thank you for your understanding.
