Ashton Mooney and cyrus traugh are the 27th and 28th Boys Basketball Players at Parkersburg South to be recognized on the All-State 1st, 2nd, or 3rd Teams.

Ashton Mooney is the 13th Boys Basketball Player at Parkersburg South to be recognized on All-State 1st Team. Parkersburg South has had a player on the All-State 1st Team in 4 of the past 5 seasons.

The Scott Brown Classic teams for Saturday’s Game along with a roster. The boys 3-point shootout and slam dunk will be held after the girls game at about 4 p.m at Shady Spring. The game follows. #wvprepbb

Ashton Mooney put on a show at the Scott Brown Classic held at Shady Spring High School..... game-high 23 points on 10-11 shooting, with 5 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals, 0 turnovers in 18 minutes of play. The Mid -State AAAA/AAA team lost 123-122 to C Adam Toney AA/A.

Ashton Mooney is #10 in Class 2022.

Ashton Mooney is the 11th Boys Basketball Player at Parkersburg South to average 20+ ppg in a season. During his 2021-2022 senior season, he posted double-figure scoring in all 26 games. After the season he posted 20 and 23 points in All-Star games.
