Well, I guess Skubal doesn't need to worry about missing the #WBC final. Team USA isn't even going to make it to the Quarterfinal.

The #WBC has a problem. Mexico & Italy can now collude to both make the Quarterfinal and eliminate Team USA. If Mexico wins and neither team scores more than 5, they both advance and USA is out.

To be fair, this tiebreaker debacle in the #WBC is entirely the fault of the organizers. They just assumed the US would cruise to the quarterfinals and didn't stop to think that having a game AFTER the US finished Pool Play will now most likely prevent the US from advancing.
