Everyone should get a water filtration straw for each member of their family. Sawyer (100,000g) or LifeStraw (1000g) are good choices. If electricity is shutoff, water is shutoff. MINIMUM one per family member and a spare for every two family members.

Tip: Don't use a microwave as a Faraday Cage to block your cellphone. Use an actual Faraday Cage or bag that you've tested with an RF meter or spectrum analyzer. Microwaves are at 2.45 ghz, oven will only block the 2.4 ghz WiFi frequency of your phone.
