I recently met with MTA, DOT, community and school leaders, parents, and electeds to address concerns about drop-off/pick-up challenges tied to Automated Camera Enforcement (ACE) in Co-op City. It was a productive discussion as we work toward solutions for the community.

This year we installed a concrete triangle and concrete curb extension at the intersection of Westchester Ave, Fox St, East 165th St This project: 🚶Created a shorter safer crossing 🪑Provide a new public space with benches 🚶‍♀️Widened a crowded sidewalk #nycdot2024

MTA Assemblyman Jeffrey Dinowitz TWU Local 100 Update: MTA has removed the bus. NYC DOT is replacing and extending the guardrails. NYC Sanitation has removed all debris. All previously reported street closures will be lifted as equipments leave the scene A big thank you to our city agencies for their prompt action
