It is with the deepest regret that we announce the passing of our colleague Crew Manager Ian Ball following a short illness. Ian was an outstanding firefighter and much-loved colleague who will be greatly missed. Our sincere condolences are extended to Ian’s family and friends.

This week, firefighters at Knutsford carried out height safety training at the indoor training facility at Lymm fire station. The team were tasked to climb and traverse different structures using height safety equipment and setting up systems for rescuing casualties.

Blue Watch have been awarded with their Kings Coronation Medals today. The tradition dates back to the reign of King James I, with the first awarded in 1603. These members have completed at least 5 years of continuous service at the time of the coronation.
