One to watch - this lawsuit cites research and legislative testimony that social media companies use algorithms designed to target & addict children and their vulnerabilities.

Kent School District (south of Seattle) files it’s own lawsuit against social media companies for their targeting of teens. Wonder how many more school districts will follow suit (by filing suits!)

#CHI2023 decisions have been sent (are sending), and PCS now reflects the decisions. CHI2023, with the new Revise&Resubmit process, accepted 28.39% of papers, which was ~60% of papers that could and did resubmit. Reviews will follow early next week.
