8 hours to Ljubljana starts now!

It’s not every day you can call an 8-hour train journey enjoyable! All the way from Budapest to Ljubljana on the InterCity Citadella. Loved the old-school Slovenian cars and dreaming the day away as we passed through endless countryside. And the best part - it was only £35 each!!

Do I know anyone here that has visited Lake Bled by bus? Anything to know ahead of tomorrow? The system seems a little chaotic…

No Ann and Adam day trip is complete without a hike! I was skeptical about Lake Bled, but it’s 100% worth the trip. If you get the chance, climb the viewpoint trail too. Absolutely incredible - apart from the long section of stairs you’ll tackle on all fours 😅

Great solo adventure yesterday - 14.5 miles of nothing but rolling hills and fresh air. The ability to reach the Peak District by train is just fabulous. Legs are a little worse for wear today, but love me a challenge ☀️
