The discussion about the HOF really has to pin down what we're trying to reward. Troy Tulowitzki just got lopped off the ballot and, at his best, he was WAY better than Jimmy Rollins ever was. And injuries wrecked his career length. So what precisely do we want to reward?

I see a lot of discussion about Spencer Jones. I liked the pick by the Yankees when they made it. He sure seems to be doing the offense part the hard way: massive strikeouts with a high BABIP and exit velos. With good defense, that's doable. But it will look ugly at times.
