Easter Sunday crop inspection, peas and spring wheat looking well, bees 🐝 starting to move too. Yes it's dry, yes a rain would be good, yes only 11mm rain since 25th February but we still have a lot to be thankful for.

Flag leaf emerging on September sown wheat. It's dry! Just 18mm since the 25th February. No Nitrogen trial plot standing out. Spring wheat and peas 🫛 looking well atm however not huge amount of moisture being pulled out presently, dry month forecast might change this!

and crops are showing signs of stress. These are the rainfall totals recorded in the last 10, 30, 60 and 90 days. Worrying times for our farmers!
