All in all a good day on the roads. 3rd place overall, ran under 3 hours when my stunted training would indicate I had no business even running 26.2, much less running that time. I benefited from great family support and an awesome coach. Great event bg26.2

The teacher killed in the school shooting has been identified as Jean Kuczka of Dittmer, MO. She was 61 years old. Kuczka taught health and phys ed, was a proud mother of five and was love by all at Central Visual Performing Arts High School. Keep her family in your thoughts.

Marathon #9 complete.Was in shape to PR but just wasn’t feeling it most of the day. At 21 miles it was still possible.But cramping&conditions the last 5 (20+mph wind,gusts up to 40mph)especially the last 2.5 miles straight into that, slowed me.Still my 3rd fastest. No complaints.
