Awful news. Olena Hubanova and Yevhen Karmazin, Ukrainian journalists working for TV channel Freedom, were killed in a Russian Lancet drone attack in Kramatorsk, according to the city’s mayor and local media reports. The drone attack occurred while they were at a gas station.

Russian oil giant Lukoil (under US sanctions) says it has agreed to sell its international business to commodity trader Gunvor for an undisclosed sum. (Gunvor, of course, was co-founded by an ally of Vladimir Putin, and the company made its early fortunes trading Russian oil)

Lukoil sells its international assets to a Cyprus-based company co-founded by one of Putin’s closest “wallets” Gennady Timchenko. So essentially a temporary sale to another entity also controlled by the Kremlin.
