I am busy reviewing CV’s and can spot the use of AI from a mile away: “Delve into the realms” “Unwavering commitment to excellence” ”Navigate the complexities (of finance) with precision” Use AI to help you with your CV, but write your intro paragraph in your own words

More AI trendspotting stuff: AI LLM sentence structure, grammar and lack of spelling mistakes can also clearly be spotted. When you read something a human wrote, you can pick up speech and writing patterns that are unique to that individual.

Yes, but frankly I place a higher value on the Cover Letter or professional summary at the top of the CV. Regardless of the contents of the rest of the CV, it allows me to quick understanding of the person, their career etc. Lack of effort loses merit.

Geniune answer? I mostly read non-fiction books. Yesterday I reviewed over 100 CV's. My personal view is that purple prose should be left for novels and fiction. Flowery language has its place, but not in academic or professional settings.
